Things to do in North Myrtle Beach
North Myrtle Beach sits at the top of the Grand Strand, close to the North Carolina line. It takes in Cherry Grove, Ocean Drive, Crescent Beach and Windy Hill, and it is generally quieter and more residential than the stretch around downtown Myrtle Beach.
Along Highway 17 you'll find mini golf, wineries and breweries, music venues and family attractions, while the beachfront side has piers, small beach bars and a relaxed pace. Little River, just north, adds harbor-side boat tours and fishing charters.
