Rainy-day ideas
Showers on the Strand don't have to cancel the day. These are indoor or covered picks: theaters, museums, escape rooms, bowling, indoor mini golf and tasting rooms.
Summer storms along the coast often pass within an hour or two, but a wet day can last longer. Hours change by season, and ticketed shows and escape rooms often fill up, so call ahead or book online before you set out.
